Camping

Chinley Campsite is a friendly family run campsite situated on the edge of Chinley village.

With views over the surrounding Peak District National Park it is the perfect place to enjoy the countryside.

We ask that you respect our home, campsite and your neighbours during your stay with us so everyone can enjoy it now and in the future.

Facilities

Camping facilities include

  • drinking water points in the camping area

  • field with beautiful views

  • recycling facilities

  • phone charging point​

  • open all year

We welcome tents and small campervans. Our field is not suited to larger vans and we don't have any hard standing or electric hook ups.

  • £6 per person per night

  • Children under 8 years old free. 

  • Vehicle £6 per night.

  • Motorbike £3 per night.

Fires

We're happy for campers to have BBQs as long as they are kept off the the grass and clear of tents.

We hire braziers/fire pits or you are welcome to bring your own, but please ask before you light it so we can provide grass protection.

  • Brazier/fire pit Hire £30 per night including all wood.

Dogs

We welcome friendly dogs with responsible owners at Chinley camping. We may ask for dogs who are causing a nuisance to other campers or animals to be kept on a lead. 

Access...
We have expanded our facilities to include an accessible wet room which will hopefully provide easier access and privacy for those that need it.
